I’ve decided to tackle fitness first when it comes to my happiness journey and the reason I have done this is I feel like this is a pretty big factor for me when it comes to my happiness. I really want to get back into shape and feel good about myself. Shortly after having my second little one I set my mind to really losing the baby weight. I went to hot yoga 2-3 times a week which is something I really loved and enjoyed. I ate better and felt better because I wasn’t eating junk that made me lazy and tired and I had such confidence. Overall I just felt great.
The problem happened when I went on vacation and ate whatever I wanted and then got busy with work and stopped making time for yoga or fitness. I lost my drive to stay fit and just fell into a rhythm of being crazy busy and not having or allowing time for me.
Fast forward to now, I want to get back into shape and get that feeling and confidence back. The reason I am putting this first is because I am hard on myself when I don’t make it happen. If I commit to making this a priority not only will I feel better about myself but it will set the base for the rest of my goals.
This however is definitely not the top priority as I feel like there are more important topics to cover but I don’t want any negative feelings about fitness to interrupt my future challenges.
So my goal this month is fitness. I plan on being mindful about the other goals and trying to incorporate them as much as possible but fitness is the key!
Through out the remainder of this month I’ll keep you updated on what I am doing to achieve my fitness goals and how it is coming along.
Keep in mind that there is no magic weight number for this goal it is about the feeling. Feeling healthy, happy, confident and energetic. That is the goal.
